Lemongrass Tea

Lemongrass Tea 


Ingredient: Lemongrass, water, stevia


Direction:

  • Wash lemongrass and slice away the roots.

  • Slice lemongrass.

  • Add boiling water.

  • Steep liquid for about seven hours. 

  • Strain and stir in stevia.

  • Chill.



Health Benefits:

  • Helps prevent the formation of fungal and microbial qualities (citral)

  • Aids in the increase of urination frequency (diuretic property)

  • Provides relief from nasal blockages and flu (vitamin C)

  • Helps lower fever (febrifuge)

  • Fights infections brought about by ringworms, sores, scabies (anti-fungal properties)


Note: Add pandan leaves for a tastier mix. Calamansi and ginger are good options, too.
