Lemongrass Tea
Ingredient: Lemongrass, water, stevia
Direction:
Wash lemongrass and slice away the roots.
Slice lemongrass.
Add boiling water.
Steep liquid for about seven hours.
Strain and stir in stevia.
Chill.
Health Benefits:
Helps prevent the formation of fungal and microbial qualities (citral)
Aids in the increase of urination frequency (diuretic property)
Provides relief from nasal blockages and flu (vitamin C)
Helps lower fever (febrifuge)
Fights infections brought about by ringworms, sores, scabies (anti-fungal properties)
Note: Add pandan leaves for a tastier mix. Calamansi and ginger are good options, too.
